AN βOUT-GOINGβ teenager who was stabbed to death in Slough on Tuesday has been named as Jane Treasure.
The 19-year-oldβs body was discovered by police at a home in Ledgerβs Road, Chalvey shortly after 7am.
A post-mortem examination today (Wednesday) revealed that Jane died from stab wounds.
At the time, officers were carrying out enquiries into an earlier attack where a 22-year-old man was stabbed in nearby The Crescent. He is now stable at Wexham Park Hospital.
Emotional tributes have been pouring in for Jane.
A family statement released today, said: βJane was a motivated, hard-working health care worker and student. Jane had great ambitions to work abroad as a professional and had been a keen student studying a National Diploma in Travel and Tourism. Jane had already attained several distinctions and was a positive role model for her peers.
βJaneβs out-going nature and inherent sense of justice and fairness meant she shared wide popularity with students, tutors, work colleagues, friends and family.β
A 24-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder and attempted murder and remains in police custody this afternoon, where he is currently being interviewed by officers.

the memories i have of you still stay with me to this very day. i miss you more than any words i could begin to say.. bravest,the kindest, most caring young girl i knew. you shared your insperation and showed your love to every1 and everything you believed in.
